Skins Seasons 1 - 4 Box Set represent, to me, the greatest TV to be shown on my television screen. Skins box set 1-4 does not seek to entertain through clichés and high-end fashion but rather through its rather apt, yet slightly exaggerated representation of teenagers. It has a perfect balance, consistently providing the viewer with unique humour and poignant drama. I would like to mainly speak of the original cast, which make the show what it is. The characters in Skins series 1-4, albeit some may seem rather familiar, are extremely unique.
However, with the rise of new characters in Skins 1 - 4 Box Set altogether. Through the creation of such a great show, the makers of Skins dvd set in fact burdened themselves, as the audience's prior knowledge of such a great cast will not fade. Hence in contrast, new characters to Skins dvd set 1-4 will inevitably seem mundane and overdone.
